Life Skills and Responsibility
CIT PRogram details
Our CIT Program in Texas is a comprehensive training course teaching life skills & responsibility with a goal of becoming a junior summer camp counselor throughout high school years. Spending a summer as a CIT is a great way for pre-teens and teens to gain work experience and provides the opportunity for a summer job while going through college. Even though participants can sign up for just one week of CIT training, the program is actually intended to be a 5-week sessions. Those wanting to qualify as a junior counselor who are considered for staff positions must complete two 5-week programs by attending two summers.
CITs will learn camp standards, problem solving, risk management & drills, emergency & safety procedures, CPR & first aid certification, team building, leadership styles, and more!
PRE-CAMP TRAINING: Memorial Day weekend from 8:00AM -5:00AM. The address is to be determined. $50.00 for both days (scholarships available). Call 707 583 6711 for more information and registration process.
