EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM
Our Education Support Program started in March 2020 when school closed due to the pandemic and has become one of the most successful programs we have ever had in 25 years. This fulltime program is lead by a credentialed teacher who works with the same group of children each day from 8:00AM until 5:00PM. Mornings are spent doing academic work with afternoons being spent horse riding, shooting archery, interacting with farm animals, doing arts and crafts, ceramics and interacting with farm animals. The program has connected the children in a small social setting that will surely provide lifetime memories of the special time and place in their lives during what would otherwise be a stressful time during the pandemic. Parents have said their children “have never been happier in school and their lives”. Children come in asking “What are we going to do today” showing excitement for what they are learning and doing. Our teacher, Katja Loughman has amazing energy and dynamic personality that all the children love. Our certified horse riding instructor has been training children for over 20 years.
Some families have pulled out of the public school system as “home schoolers” and will remain in the program even after schools re-open. The fee for our program is $1,000.00 per month plus riding lessons. For more information, call the program director, Linda McDonald between 8AM and 8PM daily at 707 583 6711.
