Our CIT Program is a comprehensive training course teaching life skills & responsibility with a goal of becoming a junior summer camp counselor throughout high school years. Spending a summer as a CIT is a great way for pre-teens and teens to gain work experience and provides the opportunity for a summer job while going through college. Even though participants can sign up for just one week of CIT training, the program is actually intended to be a 6-week course. Those wanting to qualify as a junior counselor who are considered for staff positions must complete two 6-week programs by attending two summers. CITs will learn camp standards, problem solving, risk management & drills, emergency & safety procedures, CPR & first aid certification, team building, leadership styles, and more! CIT’s also learn the “Seven Pillars” of Character:
- Good Citizenship

Monday-Friday 9:00 am-4:30 pm ** Participants riding the shuttle will be required to arrive earlier at shuttle locations. Return times depend on traffic and which shuttle is taken.
