Join the fun! Sign up for camp today! Fun Day Camp program activities include:  Swimming & water games, arts & crafts, lapidary (rock polishing), archery, scrapbooking, ropes courses, boat regatta, “puppy & kitten love”, hiking & nature studies, carpentry, interaction with farm animals, goat milking, badminton, theme days, field trips & more! Camp is held at Morton’s Warm Springs and at Spring Lake Regional Park. Ages 5-12 years  Monday-Friday 9:00 am- 4:30 pm **Children riding shuttle will be required to arrive earlier at shuttle locations. HORSE CAMP (5 days/wk HorseRe sizedDMR 00863 200x300 Camp Programs Riding)

Horse lovers, this camp is for you!  Daily riding lessons taught by experienced trainers, plus an additional hour of free riding time each day. Students will be assigned to their own horse to love and care for during the week.  Students learn equestrian management, grooming, & proper safety techniques.  Students can also enjoy activities from day camp such as swimming, arts & crafts, archery, and more!  Ages 8-16 years  Monday-Friday  9:00am-4:30 pm  **Children riding shuttle will be required to arrive earlier at shuttle locations. COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING (CIT) CAMP

 

 

Our CIT Program is a comprehensive training course teaching lDMR 00543 200x300 Camp Programsife skills & responsibility with a goal of becoming a junior summer camp counselor throughout high school years. Spending a summer as a CIT is a great way for pre-teens and teens to gain work experience and provides the opportunity for a summer job while going through college. Even though participants can sign up for just one week of CIT training, the program is actually intended to be a 6-week course. Those wanting to qualify as a junior counselor who are considered for staff positions must complete two 6-week programs by attending two summers. CITs will learn camp standards, problem solving, risk management & drills, emergency & safety procedures, CPR & first aid certification, team building, leadership styles, and more!  CIT’s also learn the “Seven Pillars” of Character:

  • Trustworthiness
  • Respect
  • Fairness
  • Caring
  • Good Citizenship
  • Responsibility
  • Accountability

Positions in our CIT program are limited to participants who submit applications and are chosen from the interview process. Sessions run weekly from June 3-August 9th.  Mon-Fri  9:00 am-4:30 pm **CITS riding shuttle must arrive earlier at shuttle locations. Return times will depend on traffic and which shuttle is being taken.  See Parent Info section for details. **
Ages 12-18 years (or age 11 entering 7th grade). Cost: $135/Wk.
